Prince Caspian

Well, The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian released last night at midnight, and my two oldest were there to watch and pass judgment. They liked it well enough, but the oldest confessed to being a tad confused . And they were surprised by the low turnout at the theater.

I'm not. It's graduation time and finals week around here. Next week, the movie theater will be full.

I'm looking forward to the second Hellboy. What are you going to see this summer? Will any of us be able to afford to drive to the movies? (We are at 3.79 a gallon as of this morning...)

We're at $3.89 for the cheapest. I'm afraid to tank up then have all that valuable gas sitting on the street.

I never much cared for the books, but I enjoyed the first movie.

Yeah, I should get a locking gas cap as well. I drive a Suburban.

Our heating oil company decided to play a late April Fool's joke and delivered 130 gallons of oil and left a $500+ bill the other day. We won't be going to the movies at all. But I would like to catch the latest Indiana Jones movie. And Mamma Mia looks funny.

My kiddo (8) wants to see Prince Caspian, but mostly because he's cute. Though she really liked the first one so maybe we'll put it on the agenda for this weekend. I did hear it finished at the top of the box office for the weekend.

I'll have to go with Maggie to see Mamma Mia. Well, I mean in spirit anyway. And the new Batman movie is going to be a must.

I think we are in the $3.60's but it's usually cheaper here than most places. Don't know if it's being a port town or the military presence. I need to fill up tonight and I'm not looking forward to it.

We've hit the unbelievable price of $3.95 for the low octane here. And hubby's vehicle that is easy on gas decided to breakdown, so now he is driving my Blazer that LOVES gasoline. Not good.

My daughter is wanting to see Prince Caspain, much for the same reason as Terrio's. My eldest son is clamoring to see Iron Man, and what the eldest clamors for, the youngest follows suit. I am all for the new Indiana Jones.

Maggie, ouch!!

Terrio, he is cute! :) I love the special effects.

Terry Jo, an ouch for you, too! I'm sure my Suburban eats as much gas as your Blazer. But mine is old and paid for and I'd never get anything out of it, so I may as well drive it.

Iron Man has gotten some amazing reviews.

Eeek, gas... I don't go far so thank the heavens or I'd be trading in the mom van for one of those little mini deals and strap the baby to the roof.

I want to see Narnia. Oh, and I want to see Indiana Jones.

Marnee Jo, my kids would think that was the neatest thing ever! ;)

I'm pretty sure I won't be able to afford to drive to the movies.lol. I do, however, want to see Iron Man. I love Gwyneth Paltrow!

Kelly, let me know how you like it! Everyone raves about how great that movie is, which is funny, because honestly, Iron Man? It's a cartoon. But then I loved transformers, and they were one, too. :)
