Happy Easter weekend! I hope you all have a chance to spend time with family and friends, and reflect on all the good things that are happening in our lives.
Easter Sunday is a day of hope and joy! (And, fingers crossed, clear skies.)
Are you having ham and deviled eggs? I am, if I can get the eggs out of the shell without tearing them--it's tricky. Any spring holiday favorites for your table?

I love the photograph, Gillian. What a beautiful centerpiece.
My family's Easter dinner, which was actually more of a late lunch, consisted of ham and scalloped potatoes with carrots (a la Julia Child) and salad. No eggs, though. For dessert I made an apple and strawberry fruit crisp, flavored with lavender and topped with dollops of whipped cream.
We had ham and scalloped potatoes, and salad, too. And roasted asparagus. And my middle daughter, who dislikes ham, had a hamburger. :)
I made deviled eggs, and I tore them. Oh well. They were eaten. *grins* I don't typically eat pork, but my dad makes the best ham, so I let myself eat twice a year. It seems kind of- hmm, non-kosher eating pork so close to Passover. I know, I'm weird. LOL
Happy Easter! I didn't do the egg thing at all this year.
Hi ladies! Easter really came and went quickly this year. We had a good time. :)
